Pablo Alarcon Jr. is a Cuban-American visual artist, poet, and marketing creative from Miami, Florida. His work focuses on cultural inheritance and queer intimacy through the use of translation and familial iconography in the printmaking, photography, and graphic design processes. Pablo uses images of cafeteras, plantains, palms, and self portraits to explore queer-latinidad, anti-blackness, and familial legacy. His work highlights the experience of queer latin-american men through his use of language, textures, and silhouettes.
